Free Arts hosts successful office warming

Last Wednesday, Free Arts put the final touches on our new offices and invited the community to celebrate with us at our Office Warming Open House. More than 200 guests toured through our new space at 352 E Camelback Rd. A true Free Arts experience: the event had food, drinks, a scavenger hunt, live music from one of our recent alumni, and of course, an art project.

Thank you to our staff members and board members for making our guests feel welcome. We saw mentors who have been with us for 10+ years sit in our new space and comfortably engage with the staff and each other. We saw new people who were encountering Free Arts for the first time immerse themselves in the scavenger hunt, admire the Professional Artist Series dresses in the training room, and read about our programs on the Program Wall. Everyone had a great time!

Now that the move is complete and the office is officially ‘warmed’, we look forward to starting on the next phase of our growth. Free Arts hopes to purchase the building later this year and renovate to accommodate future program expansion. We will also make the exterior of the building better representative of the work we do by adding murals and sculpture.

If you couldn’t make the Open House, but would like to see the new office, please contact us to schedule a tour.  We’d love to show you around.

Best regards,
