Children from group homes, treatment centers, and shelters participated in the Harmony at the Kerr Free Arts Day held at ASU Kerr Cultural Center. Participants created visual art in response to live musical performance by Free Arts Alumni and Professional Artist, Parish Murphy. Free Arts volunteers guided participants through each phase by encouraging them to connect with the music and also assisting them with the different art techniques. Free Arts children from two partner facilities participated in a series that culminated in their participating as volunteers with our general population of children at this Free Arts Day. It was a morning of art, connection, and harmony which ended in a silent gallery and an impromptu performance of spoken word. This Free Arts Day was made possible by our partner, Arizona Coyotes Foundation.
