Congratulations to Karen Grande, Free Arts of Arizona's 2011 Volunteer of the Year!  Karen first became involved with Free Arts of Arizona in 2006 through our Palette of Homes fundraiser.  In the fall of 2009 Karen made the jump to begin volunteering in Free Arts' impactful programs by becoming a Weekly Mentor.  This past year Karen became a Master Mentor while continuing to mentor at two sites, as well as volunteer in our Free Arts Days and Professional Artist Series programs.  In all that she does with Free Arts, Karen truly embodies our assertion that every child is capable of success.  Through her hard work, passion, and perseverance, Karen has made an incredible impact on the lives on children in our community.

Thank you, Karen, for your passion and heartfelt dedication for bringing hope and healing to Arizona’s children!
