Community Garden Free Arts Day at Spaces of Opportunity

Free Arts and the Tiger Mountain Foundation joined efforts to make the Spaces of Opportunity community garden bloom! 32 volunteers from Edward Jones, Junior League, and Free Arts interacted and helped 101 children as they participated in gardening projects to make room for fruit trees and planting new crops. Children and volunteers also painted the walls surrounding the garden to remove graffiti and prepare the space for mural art work.

“One shy young girl came out of her shell, talked with adults and showed confidence when she started painting.”

This Free Arts Day was made possible by our partner, Arizona Coyotes Foundation.
