Meet the New Faces at Free Arts!

We have welcomed some new folks to our team over the past few months that we are excited to introduce.

Tenneille Choi – Development Officer

Tenneille Choi (she/her) is a fundraiser, nonprofit professional, and arts advocate. She began her fundraising career at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, and after five years, moved to Childsplay Theatre as the Director of Development. Outside of work, she has served on the Board of Directors of three local organizations: Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Phoenix; [nueBOX], a nonprofit supporting local artists; and Emerging Arts Leaders of Phoenix, a networking group for artists and arts advocates. Overall, Tenneille is a proud Phoenician who loves living in Arizona and wants to see her city reach its full potential. She sees the arts as a means for education reform, community development, and social change. She also loves camping, and her adopted dogs and cat: Eddie, Lou, and Maxine.

Lamonte McDuffie – Board Member

Lamonte McDuffie (he/him) has been a part of the Free Arts family since 2011, where he started as a mentee during his teen years. He went on to attend Grand Canyon University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies with a minor in Psychology. He is currently working on his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, while working as a Recreational Therapist at one of the Free Arts partner agencies. In his free time, he loves to indulge in poetry writing, singing, dancing, acting, and being a master of none of those skills. He is an adventurist who enjoys taking on new strides and he looks forward to this journey with Free Arts.
